I began my real estate career in March of 1997. I was brought into a new construction townhome development project that had been failing to sell. There were thirty-eight townhomes to sell and five floor-plans to choose from. The area had challenges with noise from a freeway close and multifamily housing nearby. With tenacity, strategy, and marketing collaboration I created a creative hosting and showing style. I used the language new prospective buyers understood. I used my listening skills and psychology background to assist clients in pacing the client with what is needed and wanted. I always strived to provide them with exactly the home they would feel content with. In just eighteen months all the townhomes were sold and closed. Soon I moved into an amazing family-owned brokerage where I grew my real estate experience and flourished in coaching new and seasoned homeowners with their transactions. As far as business acumen, I have 15 years of corporate experience which includes sales/marketing, customer service, purchasing, and as a contract specialist with contract management in a major utility company. Throughout thirty years, I have been involved in many non-profit groups serving as a facilitator for chemical abuse prevention, single and divorced and grief education/support groups. I hold a BA in Psychology with an emphasis on family and organizational systems, and an AS minor in Business and Marketing administration.
I am not a stereotypical realtor. I specialize in assisting people and the biggest transitions in their life. Most of my clients have gone through major life changing events: death of a spouse, parents or siblings, divorces, marriages, foreclosures, interstate moves, adult children moving their parents in with them, etc.
Spiritual and emotional well-being sometimes get missed in this professional relationship. If you need professional personal guidance in selling or purchasing a home, and need more resources, understanding, education and coaching, you can depend on me. In addition, I have professional partnerships to assist in every part of this important transition.
Yes, I am a Certified Therapeutic Coach, GRI Licensed Realtor in MN and WI, have emotional intelligence, a disarming countenance, and a lot of patience. I have over 25 years of experience assisting people transform the biggest changes and financial decisions in your lifetime.
